EMS Components Assembly, Inc. (EMSCAI) is a company that provides cost effective and efficient solution for the labor intensive, global electronic manufacturing companies based in the Philippines or abroad. On February 16, 2004, with only 90 operators and 3 managers, EMSCAI started its operations in Sta. Rosa, Laguna in a 1,500-square meter facility. Now on its 3rd year, EMSCAI has grown to over 1,400 employees and has produced over 87,000,000 assemblies in three facilities in Laguna .

The core values of continuous improvement (kaizen), great customer service, value innovation, and competitiveness that fueled EMSCAI still exist today, and shall continue to be the backbone that will drive its future.

EMSCAI on Corporate & Social Responsibility/ Company Activities
EMSCAI also aims to promote social consciousness among its people through involvement in varied outreach programs like medical & dental missions, disaster relief assistance during natural calamities, blood donations in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross, participation in community upliftment programs like Habitat for Humanity, environmental awareness via tree-planting activities, river clean-up drive, as well as participation in NAMFREL during local elections. Spiritual needs are also supported with a regular First Friday Mass held in the plant chapel. To foster a good working environment, EMSCAI also commemorate Company Anniversary, conduct regular teambuilding & training sessions, celebrate Christmas Party/Dinner, organize annual summer outings and sports activities that promote employee well being.
EMSCAI's Labor Profile & People Development
The average industry experience of each Management Committee (MANCOM) member is over 20 years. EMSCAI Engineering group comprises professionals from Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Computer, Electronics & Communications Engineering disciplines. Supervisory levels have Engineering degrees while Direct Labor (Operators) are at least high school graduates with minimum of 3 manufacturing skills developed. Company training methods enable quick skills ramp up with 30 day duration for minor skill at 100% job efficiency and 60 days for major skill requirements. EMSCAI also ensures that its Company core values and skills are enhanced by providing employee development programs from Operators up to Managerial levels. The Company also gives rewards & recognition to deserving individuals or groups with commendable performances.
